You and your neighbors do a lot to fix up your homes. You put a lot of effort into your lawn and do something
special at the front door. Could it be that the most unattractive part of the whole place is right out front?
It's the mailbox and it's the first thing everybody sees.
It's not hard to fix with one of the options we offer and you'll like the price.
More important is the question "Is your address number readable?" Take the test!
During the day ride through your neighborhood at the posted speed, (not at the crawling along pace). See how
many address numbers you can read from a moving vehicle, and how far away are you when you first see each one
clearly.
It's a convenience to first time visitors and repairmen to have an easy to read address number. But, in an
emergency it's critical.
The address numbers offered by Numbers 4 Mailboxes are designed for readability from a moving vehicle. However,
appearance is also important. The size of the numbers is not so big that they become akward and the letter style
or font is plain and readable. Larger numbers would improve readable distance but appearance would suffer.
Likewise, a more stylish number would be a bit more attractive close-up but the reduction in readable distance
mitigates against its use.
Good design criteria maximizes readability and provides an attractive appearance. Use of the best materials means
durability and improves appearance.
